Where does my data actually live?

On your Mac, in a folder you can open. Turnstone builds its memory locally and keeps it there. We do not hold a copy.

Do you train on anything I connect?

No. Your files and messages are read to build your own memory and nothing else. There is no shared model learning from your work.

Which models can I use?

The AI you already pay for: ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok or OpenRouter, through your subscription or an API key. You can move any Agent to a different model whenever you like.

So do I need to pay for AI separately?

No. Turnstone runs on the AI subscription you already have, like ChatGPT or Claude, or on an API key. There is nothing extra to buy.

What does it read, and can I stop it reading something?

Only the sources you connect, and you pick them one at a time during setup. Any source can be disconnected later, and folders can be excluded before it reads them.

What if I delete Turnstone?

Your brain lives on your computer, not inside Turnstone. Uninstall the app and your files and memory stay yours. Keep the folder, back it up, or reconnect it later to pick up where you left off.
